Adopt a shelter pet: Oreo needs a home! | Families
Oreo is a sweet one-year-old male terrier-schnauzer mix and is waiting for his new family to come adopt him at Pets Fur People, formerly the Humane Society of East Texas.
Oreo walks well on a leash, knows some basic commands and is house trained. He likes cats but would do better as the only dog in a household.
He also would do best in a household with no small children.
He has been neutered and is current on starting vaccinations, including rabies. Oreo has been microchipped for identification purposes and when adopted will receive a free gift of 30 days of free pet health insurance.
For additional information call 903 597-2471 or check the Pets Fur People website – petsfurpeople.org. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm.
Pets Fur People is a selective admission animal sanctuary. Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets. For information on the Pets Fur People Pets Make a Family Partnership Spay/Neuter Project check their website or call 903 526-5598.
